Mugwort is known as the Mother of all herbs, a plant that is historically revered as a potent and magical spirit ally and medicine. She's ruled by the Moon and Venus. The deva of this plant express itself both energetically and physically as a feminine force in the body where her qualities works to restore balance and harmony, primarily within the nervous system and reproductive hormonal glands. Her medicine used as a remedy is especially effective for women's reproductive health where the herbal action may ease menstrual cramping and induce delayed menses which are due to hormonal imbalance. She brings us deeper into the feminine mysteries and support us as we journey through our moonthly cycles as women. She also support men to connect to a rhythm of harmony within their inner feminine - making it easier to connect with, listen to, and integrate the emotional body and heart. Mugwort also has an interesting relationship with the nervous system where she acts as both a relaxant and a stimulant depending on the nature and health of the individual ingesting it.
If the nervous system is sluggish she stimulates energetic circulation, and if the nervous system is overactive she calm and relaxes it, which can be beneficial for individuals who are prone to feelings of anxiety, stress, and insomnia. The health of the nervous system is critically important as it is the body's central command centre, responsible for communication, coordination, and control of virtually all bodily functions. It allows us to feel, think, learn, move, and experience the world around us. Individuals who are highly sensitive and who easily absorb energies from external environments which may lead to feelings of overwhelm, anxiety or internal un-safety may benefit greatly from working with Mugwort. She aids in filtering out negative and toxic energies from our energy body - if it is our own she may bring the root of the issue to our awareness and lead us to find the pathways of dissolution so that we can resolve it, we can ask her to protect and strengthen our energy body from external projections that may cause us energetic harm and dissonance. Mugwort is also used in Chinese Medicine and acupuncture where the herb is burnt as "moxa" over meridian points in the body which ease stagnation and aids in energy circulation promoting overall healing and health.
The active compound Thujone which is present in Mugwort acts as a catalyst to induce deep relaxation and enhance the dream state where powerful visionary states may be achieved. This is a typical moon quality in plants and one that allows us to tap into one of the spectrums of her spirit-medicine which is symbolic to being an illuminator of the dark (our subconscious) like the moon illuminates the night sky. If we wish to open up and begin to unravel the mysteries of the soul; the inner world of our eternal being; it can be done in communion with the deva of Mugwort.
The deva of Mugwort
and the Triple Goddess
The deva (angel) of Mugwort acts as a bridge and meddler or "messenger" between the three worlds, and the three aspects of the triple goddess. The Maiden, Mother, and Crone. When a devotional relationship with her is initiated, she takes the form of the archetypal divine feminine of the Crone to support us in the inner workings of purification, restoring balance and healing the root - with an emphasis on learning to transform personal and ancestral karma into Wisdom and Medicine to support in the integration of the higher nature within the soul.
My personal experience of working with Mugwort over the past four years have been very unique and pivotally important to the healing of my soul, the revelations of my mysteries, and the gradual unfolding and integration of my spirit-self.
She came to me in the archetypal form of the Crone when our journey began; the wise old woman of the Earth; a being who is a protector of Mother Nature and a guardian of her ancient wisdom. She overlooks the web of the soul that have been weaved through lifetimes past and guides us on the path of remembrance. Her teachings are vast and takes us deep into the root of our being where we may come to know the deeper truths of our own becoming and the evolutionary path of the soul. We must know ourselves to truly be able to transform the "I" and integrate the higher Self. When we choose initiation with Mugwort we choose to learn how to become an alchemist in the inner worlds. We learn to meet the teachings within the lower spheres of our own psyche where we perceive life from the individual and conditioned mind; where our fears, negative thought-patterns, and inner wounding resides and are given expression; and are guided to heal and transform these parts of our inner world into gifts and wisdom which streams forth through our heart centres and eventually merges with our entire being, fully embodying the medicine.
Mugwort illuminates the subconscious and irradiate us with her silvery light, her spirit is devoted to helping us heal and restore balance within the temple of the soul and help us connect to inner wisdom and ancestral medicine that we have cultivated over many lifetimes.
Many of us are incarnated at this specific time to process, transmute and heal eons of karmic debris that we right now see playing out on the world stage. This is a part of our soul's individual initiation cycle - we must make peace with the past to become the new light. What we have been in the past is influencing what is manifesting in the present - be it years or lifetimes ago. There is a specific set of lessons and karma that we choose to work with in each life - challenges and initiations - that are intrinsical to the evolution of the soul. This inner work invites us to investigate our internal being and transform that which is transpired, distorted, and inauthentic to our heart's true song. We become a world-server by choosing to meet, alchemize, and demystify the darkness that we meet internally, as this is the first step on the path of discipleship. Inner purification makes space for integration of the christ light and unity principle within the heart, which is the energy we want to create in the world from. We come to know that our own soul is a part of the world soul, and that when we meet our own shadow we meet a part of the world shadow. When we heal our own heart we heal a part of the world heart.
My first three years with Mugwort was primarily focused on healing, inner purification, and getting to know the seed of my soul. The Crone was guiding me during this time as I was shown the importance of demystifying the dark in order for me to evolve as my soul was intending. This meant I was going deep into my shadow and the core wounds/trauma of the soul to understand its origin and what it needed to fully heal/transform from the root. I would not know myself, my gifts, and my medicine in the way I do today if I wouldn't have done the deep root work with Mugwort and the Crone. Together they work to set the foundation for the integration of the soul.
Becoming a student in the mystery school of Mother Nature
It is important to know that the plants and their devas teach us all individually different according to our soul's developmental cycle and level. My personal experiences are not shared to have you expecting that the same is going to happen for you, it just to give you an idea of how they might present themselves and teach us. The beauty of doing this work lies in the ability for us to really reconnect to our own innate power, intuition, and wisdom, by becoming students and doing our own inner research of what the devas present to us. Our level of personal commitment and devotion will determine our inner development and growth. The relationships that we develop with the plants and these areas of inner study takes many years, if not lifetimes to develop and cultivate in the soul.
Mugwort is generally an amazing ally to grow with for anyone who wish to tread the plant path and continue working with them as allies to unfold the mysteries of the soul and integrate the Spirit-Self. When a devotional relationship is established with this Deva she becomes a part of our astral body and can work into it to enhance our intuitive gifts and support us in developing our relationship with the natural kingdoms. She acts as a sheath of energetic "protection" through her harmonizing qualities which is greatly supportive when we perform and engage in various healing work.
A self initiation and study with

This plant initiation is a longer and gentle yet potent deep dive with the plant deva that we meet through or beloved mother Mugwort. We will during 28 days (a full moon cycle) plant her spirit light as an intentional seed in the inner garden - the temple of the soul - which will grow through our conscious participation and prayer with the Triple Goddess during these days.
This is an invitation to step into a deeper relation with the mother of the Earth; to remember, heal, and awaken the seed of your soul in communion with and supported by our dear allies and teachers of the plant kingdoms.
We are weaving this journey to support in the process of inner alchemy and expansion of the heart, reconnecting with Mother Nature and the land. Each day will serve to build the bridge between our eternal Self, our Soul's path, and our present being, guided by Mother Mugwort and your own inner Spirit.
We will be working with the cycles of the moon, and study the esoteric significance of it during this journey (as Mugwort is ruled by the moon) and look at how she expresses herself in our inner life and through the 12 zodiacs that she passes through during these 28 days. Following a planet or luminaires cycle through the zodiacs like this is an excellent practice to engage with if one wish to learn more about the esoteric nature and mysteries of the cosmic influences the planets and luminaires have on our inner lives.
Along with our daily meditations we will set up a ceremony to purify and release that which belongs to the past that may be blocking us from moving forward and honour the heart's calling, and work on cleansing the etheric and and astral bodies from stagnation, lower formed energies, and negative attachments so that we can feel strong and connected with our higher source as we continue to honour the path of the heart. There will be an emphasis on reconnecting to the Root of our being, which invites us to work with our ancestors and honour the ones who paved the path for our own becoming. Letting the heart fire lead the way into our remembrance.

We are collectively moving through a pivotal and transforming time in the planetary Life which is reflected internally in each of us who are currently experiencing incarnation. We are all apart of the world soul and we are all here to evolve with her. Just as we see the planet evolving through cycles of time and the four seasons each year, so is our human and soul life reflecting the same change and transformation. We can choose to engage and actively participate in the internal evolution at this time by seeking to expand beyond the ordinary lens of the conditioned or "false" self, to find and reconnect to a higher path, purpose, and way of living which is in harmony with the natural world around and within us.
Coming back to the heart of the world and our own innermost being is what is required to do this.
There is a calling within many of us to remember our divine origin and retrieve the soul and spirit; the truth of our innermost being; that have been cast aside, forgotten, and distorted throughout the time of humanities "fall into matter", where we have become materialists and lost our connection with the world of spirit. We see through the study of anthroposophy and ancient cosmology that this "falling into matter", or descension of spirit, has been important for the development of the human intellect and the individual Self, which has not always been "free" or individual as we are experiencing it today. Self-consciousness is a human quality that has developed over centuries of evolution which today gives us the gift of freedom - each of us experiencing life through a unique lens which is coloured by our individual inner world. We experience the external world and each other as separate from our internal world until the day that the Divine Mirror reveal herself to us and the mystery of life begins to unravel through the secret language of Nature.
This gift of freedom, which gives us the ability to become who we want to be and create what we wish, is a major path of initiation for the soul. Are we mature enough to sacrifice our selfish lower desire nature and limited ego-perception to become one with the spirit-self and the heart of the world? Are we going to feed the forces of darkness or light, ignorance or discernment, selfishness or heart-coherence, truth or dishonesty? The polarities of life are inviting us to investigate both sides of the coin from our own unique perception. By studying their effects on the inner life of man and the outer world as a whole we can begin to develop the faculties of the soul where intuition, integrity, discernment, and truthfulness leads us on the path of inner growth.
We are all born into today's modern world which we know has been built around lies, manipulation, distorted power structures, colonialism, war, oppression, and extractive consumption, where the indigenous life and spirit of humanity is threatened to go extinct. The ancient wisdom; the true spirit; and history of our sacred Earth needs to be revived and this can be done in different ways. The ageless wisdom is recorded in our bodies, souls, and hearts; it's in the Earth. The minerals and plants are pure portals to the angelic hierarchies which are guiding evolution from the higher worlds. We can choose to be apart of healing and reviving the true and sacred in the world by working together with Nature and the angelic hierarchies to restore balance and divine right order and harmony within.
Choosing love and truth is not an easy task, for we have been raised in a world that perishes on the opposite. However this gives our soul an incredible and unique opportunity to experience inner transformation which is the alchemy of the soul which in our time can be consciously performed through self-initiation and inner purification.

WHO IS THIS FOR?
Everyone can join us on this journey. This is an experimental self-study and ceremonial journey which is intended to reform and strengthen your connection with the source of Life, The mysteries of Nature, and your own heart and spirit being. The work that we do with the plant devas is ultimately to restore divine right order and harmony within, and without, to awaken/integrate the soul so that we can connect with our highest expression and find our unique path as stewards of the divine. If you are feeling called to deepen your relationship with the Earth and specifically learn from and work with the plant kingdoms, then this journey is going to set a good foundation for your path onwards. You can join us on this journey and still participate in your daily life as usual.
WHAT IS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE?

You will need to set aside 1-2 hours each day to commune with Mugwort by your sacred altar or in a private space - preferably in the morning and evening - this can for example be 60 minutes in the morning and at least 30 minutes in the evening. You can adjust this to your personal needs and daily responsibilities.

A journal to document your experience in.

Dried (500 g) or fresh Mugwort. If Mugwort grows on the land where you live (which is likely as she grows in many places all over the world!) then Î highly recommend you to greet her in the wild and ask for permission to harvest and work with her. Items to build a sacred altar in your home or garden, where you can sit when connecting and working with the medicine. Suggestions of items to place on your altar would be: a candle, a small bowl for offerings, a picture of the divine mother or triple goddess, some fresh mugwort in a vase, or dried mugwort in a small bowl, and a crystal of your choice. You can place other items on the altar too but it's recommended to only place items that have a symbolic resonance with the work that we are doing.
WHEN DOES THE JOURNEY BEGIN?
This plant initiation is beginning on the New Moon of 24/7 and will end on the New Moon 23/8. You are invited to join us for the community experience during these 28 days in which you will have access to a community portal where you can connect with other's who are joining us, share about your personal experiences, ask questions, and get support if you need it.
WHAT IF I WANT TO JOIN BUT CAN'T THESE DATES?
The journey will be available on my website throughout the year. If you want to devote yourself to a 28 day journey with Mugwort at another time which may suit your life-circumstance a bit better you can do so! Make sure you begin during a New Moon!
HOW TO PREPARE
Your commitment is your preparation. When you decide to devote yourself to this for 28 days you are invited to feel into your intentions for the journey and write them down. If you are going to join us for the community experience beginning on July 24th it can be good to notice the Leo New Moon energy that we are planting this seed in. This is a solar new moon which is supportive for planting seeds which are reforming to the expression and integration of the inner light - Soul/Self.
If you are choosing to begin the plant initiation at another time/another moon, take notice of the energies that are present through the zodiacal sign that the moon is in and study it to gain an understanding of what area of life that the journey may influence.
THE LAYOUT OF THE JOURNEY
You will get access to the journey via your "Mugwort Initiation" subscription that you will sign up for after making your payment. The journey will be offered through an introduction video along with written descriptions, weekly guidance, meditations, and suggested reading to study during the 28 day cycle. You will get access to a community portal where you can meet other's who are participating, ask questions, share about your experiences, and get support if you need it.
THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL PLANT DIETA
I want to highlight that this is a self-initiated study and initiation with the Deva of Mugwort and the Divine Mother whom will be our teachers and guides along the journey. Traditional plant dietas are normally done in isolation and include strict rules and restrictions, guided by a maestro/maestra who have cultivated deep relationships with the plants over decades of healing work. The work that I have been doing with the plants in my own space and solitude over the past 5 years (which includes 3 months in isolation in the amazon) have revealed this path and the work that I today am able to share with you. We can connect with and establish meaningful and deeply transformative relations with the plant kingdoms and the angelic regencies without needing to ingest psychoactive medicines or have a "master" initiating us today. We meet the teachers through the land where we live and learn to work with them from within which gradually unfolds our own innate wisdom and unique spirit. We must honor these teachers and work with the plants from a place of reverence, when we show our devotion and heart's desire they always respond through eternal love and with enthusiasm to help and inspire us to grow.
